Hello everyone,

I was planning on writing a book on the topic of planning weddings, because since 1994, with over 650 weddings covered since then from San Francisco to Italy, working as a subcontracting wedding photographer, either as a lead photographer, a 2nd shooter, a wedding agency photographer, or a partner for a destination wedding company, as well as a wedding photographer’s assistant in my early years, to today as an independent photographer, I have seen a lot of things over the years that I would like to have done differently. In recent years, out of total frustration, I’ve been consulting with my wedding couples (& the same holds true for any client I have, where I help with the logistical planning of their event) to avoid stressful situations, and to help the overall flow of the event go smoother, which also results in better pictures for my clients to enjoy and share with their friends, family, & future generations. Although I have a lot of respect for “Wedding Planners”… it has been my experience that the vast majority of them don’t consider the needs of the photographer shooting it, from my perspective.

After filling up a bunch of notebooks with many topics… I thought I’d just start blogging and publish them right here on my website, rather than going through the trouble of getting this book published. My goal is to help make someone’s big day, a very good day..! :-)
